Rebranding alert!

Dear, Reader I know it’s been a while since I’ve written, but with a new year I’ve decided to rediscover some of my old passions. So without further ado, ‘ The InBetweens of Middle school’ is now, ‘Exiting Stage Left’. I don’t want to delete any of my old posts, cause there’s some good material over there. However a lot of this blog will be aimed at a much older audience. Especially for all those hormonal teens who are about to enter adulthood. Follow me on my last year of being a teen in high school.  I hope to pass on alot of advice to my readers and hopefully make an impact in their life. I’ll try to post as often as possible but with a busy life, there aren’t any promises. I’m not perfect and I’ll try to be as honest as possible about my experiences and mistakes.  So i guess we’ll see where exactly this blog takes us.  Love, Shweta

In school there are many different types of groups. Like the popular girls/guys, cool kids, dorks/nerds. I  know it's not good to have them but that's what makes sure everything is in perfect harmony... If your someone like me, and can jump from group to group, you know how exhausting it is. Don't get me wrong, being able to have fun with everyone is amazing, but sometimes you just want everyone to get along. When you're a new student you have to see which group belong in, a wrong choice can change your life completely. Some people just fit right in but some need time. Don't let the grouping system affect your friendship cause friends are always more important.... This concludes this chapter in middle school... Untill my next post: See ya!! (btw: Tracking means the practice of grouping children together according to their talents)

Bunking!!

Since my last post was a bit heavy this one is gonna make you think back or think about the stupid things you did/do in school. Be truthful 😏, one day or another you have bunked class,  either in a boring class or in a class you dislike. Different people have different ways of bunking. Some ask to go to the washroom and go and sit somewhere else, and some have stomach aches and take their friends with them, but both the conclusion are the same not having to sit through long classes without talking. Here are some silly but smart ways how we bunk our classes:  We sometimes meet our friends from other classes in the washroom!! We ask to go to the washroom at a particular time. Then our friends from the other class also ask the same. Then we meet in the washroom and talk a while. And this is what everyone in the school does. So imagine a small washroom with about 10 people inside talking, it's noisier than a classroom, It's a miracle how other's outside can't hear ...

Don't Let Them be the Judge!!

Middle school is the time when most things in our lives change: New teachers, new subjects, new friends and with all these new things we don't feel like our old self, do we? So we try to make ourselves look different by trying out new hair styles, putting on make-up, trying new outfits, etc., Sometimes the outcome is amazing and sometimes it just leads to you looking in the mirror and thinking how ridiculous you are! Well, this is what happened to me- I wanted to look different for school which was starting in another 2 weeks so I started looking for hair styles for school (we have a uniform so can't do anything else). I spoke to my Mom about it and we both agreed to two French braids for school. Finally things started to look up, I had the perfect hair style for school, I had grown a bit so my newly bought school uniform (which was a little big for me) fit me perfectly. Sure doing all those things make you feel confident but your confidence shouldn't de...
