Don't Let Them be the Judge!!

Middle school is the time when most things in our lives change: New teachers, new subjects, new friends and with all these new things we don't feel like our old self, do we? So we try to make ourselves look different by trying out new hair styles, putting on make-up, trying new outfits, etc., Sometimes the outcome is amazing and sometimes it just leads to you looking in the mirror and thinking how ridiculous you are!
Well, this is what happened to me-

I wanted to look different for school which was starting in another 2 weeks so I started looking for hair styles for school (we have a uniform so can't do anything else). I spoke to my Mom about it and we both agreed to two French braids for school. Finally things started to look up, I had the perfect hair style for school, I had grown a bit so my newly bought school uniform (which was a little big for me) fit me perfectly.

Sure doing all those things make you feel confident but your confidence shouldn't depend on your looks.

Everyone is different, but just remember... Even if you don't do any of that stuff it's fine. You don't have to worry if you've got messy hair, oily skin, pimples etc,
because it just doesn't matter. It's the personality that counts not how you look. You can have  plastic surgery and look like anyone but you can't change your personality. Sure others will tease you and call you names but remember you are not alone and-

At the end of the day you are yourself and no one can change that. You don't need to worry about what other people think about you, as long as you're comfortable and confident. Don't worry about people's criticism because at the end of the day they too have flaws . And our flaws make us who we are.

"Just be yourself because you being yourself is the
thing that makes you special."
